My Opinion
I was originally going to just go on about my business, as the last thing the forums need or want is more senseless QQ. I was just going to have my own silent protest, and just simply not play Lux anymore.

No big deal, right? While I do play her, she's not my main, so nothing to worry about... right? Well, when I started looking around on both the EU West forums and the NA forums and saw just how much the community did NOT want this change, it shocked me when the change actually went through. I suppose what I'm getting at is, I'm not upset about the change, but about how the Lux player base was entirely against it, yet it didn't make a bit of difference.

Riot, is the player base not who you're supposedly listening to? Is that not the point of getting feedback, so you can follow up on it? Apparently not. I would think that Riot would aim to please it's players, and this seems to be a pretty simple way to do it. Why not simply change it back, and make so many people happy?

Just my two cents on the matter. Maybe some of these guys below can help convince you, provided you can detect the sarcasm in some of them.

Also +1 because the logic you use should be what anyone who doesn't play Lux or really care about the name change should think about. A majority of Lux players don't want the change or maybe even don't mind the change, but it is universal that people hate Infinite Light.

The euw thread is ridiculously big. Over a 1000 replies and 232,000 views. That alone should say something even without all the logical arguments made by the community.

We have the stealth rework and the Xin Zhao rework. People are desperate for something about which they can complain endlessly.

**** you guys are up in arms over a name change? i was hoping lux got nerfed into the ground and couldn't mid anymore.
Such a waste of a solo lane to put a support class there... really grinds my gears.
