Renekton has Armor shred
a dash
a stun
a large aoe damage/heal (scales off of ad so is more relevant late game)
and a quick burst of health
Renekton has quite a few things Rengar doesn't, he hasn't been replaced

Your points are valid. But renekton is dated and has been for quite sometime. Renekton is strong but not as responsive or scales as well as the newer guys or even some of the older guys he goes against up top. Some QoL changes would be a big deal for renekton at this point. But again Riot will not comment and has not commented on renekton for a longtime now.
