Sejuani is so bad?

She's outclassed by pretty much every other tank. Primarily this huge guy with an anchor.

You can top with her if you already have a jungler. However you better be at low elo, and hope to get a good matchup. Play defensively til around lvl 6-9 and then you can start dishing out some nice ganks. Mid to high elo expect to have people dodging you because there is a strong negative perception of her currently and it is partially deserved.

It's not that she's bad, she is a pretty strong champion with decent potential. The problem is, she is outclassed by other champions severely in almost every way, so she isn't a bad champion, there are just better alternatives to her.

There can sometimes be an advantage to be found in the scarcity she is played. How many solo tops have their strategies all worked out for jax, riven, darius etc...throw a sejuani curve at them see what happens.

few of the tank junglers have any sort of gap closer outside of ults or skillshots.

What happens is any half decent player murders her because shes a terrible solo top...

No, it's not. She falls under more of a comparison of, say, tristana vs graves. Sure tristana is powerful and fulfills the adc role, and does so pretty well, but why pick her when you can pick another champion who fills the same role better? Does that make Tristana bad, no. It puts her in a lower tier of adc, as she can still fulfill the role, just not as well as some.

She's meh at best. Naut does everything she does, and does it better and with more CC. Her kit's not horrible, it's just not good. Her W is laughable. There are just better tanks out there.

Yeah Im not endorsing playing her at high/mid elo, and she is not exactly a pubstomper but she can be fun if you get a good matchup up top - and your jungler is on-point.
