I think you misunderstand JtF's intention here. It's obvious to everyone that JtF is not a plat player and that streamers can lose games and lose lanes just like everybody else. Furthermore, if this streamer truly is a plat player, nobody in his right mind would assume that one bad game would invalidate his documented achievements or would be representative of his performance in all his other games.

I'm guessing JtF just assumed you all realized this and would clearly cut to the heart of the matter: that he is in fact showing his respect for the streamer. I'm certain that if the streamer he beat saw this thread, he would be overjoyed to know that taking a game from him is a major event in another player's life. You know you're worth something when defeating you is a cause for gloating and post links to your stream. JtF is just taking a different, but perfectly valid, approach to praising a stronger player.
