I'm not saying she's spammy because of cooldowns, but no mana means she can keep casting the spells on cooldown. Your enemy has to not only worry about mana, but make sure they'll land that skillshot of theirs or risk losing the mana for nothing. She can outlast her laning opponent easy.


It's a manaless tradeoff. She can't poke for huge damage, but she has an endless supply of non skillshot ranged pokes. She has to be in melee range, but her damage can get quite insane from just a simple bb->ss combo. Just pick the right moment to BB, shunpo to a nearby minion, SS, and use the move buff to dash back to safety and chunk off giant portions of the enemy's health.

I'm not going to spend a fourteen second cooldown with a bad interaction to the Bouncing Blade spell in order to get off mediocre at best damage early game when you can pick something better than Kat and snowball far easier.

People who think Q > E > W harass is good are hilarious, since you never take into account the fact that the enemy can just look at you and harass you back harder than you just did them.

They just need to slightly improve her early game with some number tweaks:

1) Bouncing Blades reduction on bounces should cap out, since 10% per bounce is way too much. Alternatively, increase the damage at each level by 5 on both parts of the damage (for a total of 10). This would make it 55 / 90/ 125 / 160 / 195 for the dagger, and 20 / 35 / 50 / 65 / 80 for the proc.
2) Shunpo cooldown NEEDS to go down. Currently it's 14 / 12 / 10 / 8 / 6 seconds, and I think it should be 10 / 9 / 8 / 7 / 6 seconds, or 12 / 10.5 / 9 / 7.5 / 6 seconds.
3) Death Lotus could use an additional 25-50 damage at each rank on a single target. Putting it at 450/550/650 would be fairly reasonable if you ask me.

Kat's early game is simply way too weak right now, and her level 6 burst isn't high enough to make up for that. She just needs a few small number tweaks and then she'll be perfect.
