In my opinion if you aren't happy playing the game and are only happy when you're elo goes up you're doing it wrong. Gratz and stuff but dude elo isn't everything!

I agree. I do enjoy playing this game, regardless of losing (learning form your mistakes and all that), but it's quite heartening to know that self-education through streams and critical assessment can produce some-what lucrative results.
