I've been having a lot of success with this build. Ty! still some cdr while taking some armpen runs which I just took straight AD before. The results here are good.

He's not a bruiser, or a tank, he's a burst assassin. You want to set up on minions, burst someone out of position then get the hell out. You can ult to reset, and do it again if it's warranted, and then get the hell out of there for good unless you think you can clean up against a vastly inferior enemy.

Rengar overall is not very good at anything, but dom is especially rough on him. The builds here are decent, though I'd take prospectors over bone necklace unless you have a premade going and they're willing to feed you stacks on your necklace.
