Her Q desperately needs to scale with at least .7 AP, I feel her base damage on it is incredibly low compared to other AP carries. Right now at .5 her Q cant clear caster minions even with it maxed. Even increasing base damage by 10 or 15 and AP scaling to .65 would make her better.


Im going to address the skill cap thing quick since I know its coming..Cass has a higher skill req. Yet her q is fairly easy to land, just about as easy as syndras Q imo (Cass doesnt have nearly as long of a delay). Cass's Q is also a 3 second CD with 15 more base damage than syndra AND scales with .8 AP

Take this with a grain of salt, this is my personal opinion.

I was usually using W after a while for caster's, but I do agree that her Q can use a bit higher ratio.

The thing is if you use your W to farm you cant effectively harass, especially with her high mana costs.

Not really, that is not a big problem, what i do in these cases i also do with Ahri and that's to make sure harass and farm go together as i would chose right as the champ is closing in while near the minions to land the 'w' as that has a fair AOE range. I do think that her farming is a bit weak though when you think of her high mana costs but with early mana items and good timing you don't really fall behind but it is much harder as say with Ahri after level 8 (i think) she can one shot mage minions, Syndra can't do that unless fed (with deathcap) at around level 16-18 (depending on the other items).

I wouldn't increase the ratios at all. Her endgame Q/level 9 is brutal damage already. She gains a huge burst of damage when her passive kicks in. If anything, Re-scale the base damage for Q but don't buff the ratios at the moment.

Are we playing the same game here? How is her q at level 9 brutal with a .5 scaling? It doesnt even kill caster minions

Have you been playing Syndra at all? Her level 9 = lv 5 Dark Sphere which triggers 15% passive bonus vs champions. Higher AP ratio is gonna make her Q more of a monster than it is at poking. Already she plays like a zoning AP mid cause of her Q and her W which helps punish aggressive AP mids.

Because its a 3.5 second CD with decent AoE size.

her Q really does not need a rework in term of AP scaling (Personal Opinion), Her Q is more a utility spell to Set up her W and E which is the main part of her burst damage. She a very latent OP champ, cause once people figure out how to control her Q and Her ult.

Wow the experts in this game.You expect average players to know every little nook and cranny.Might i tell you most dont.Syndra will be a hard champ to tackle.They are making almost every champ that comes out now harder to play.
