((I will be taking only specific people for this RP. Applicants must be serious, talented, punctual and have a certain amount of writing skill. I am not interested in short, helpless posts that people feel disconnected from and have to break their back to reply to.

Applicants must enter with an original character, undeveloped and with vasts amounts of growth potential. I will be strict in that aspect. The aspect I will be less strict with is the types of characters I will accept. Whatever land you hail, or world; whatever species you are, or even if you are living or unliving (all must be able to die), you may potentially be accepted. Think along the lines of Champions. Nothing horribly outrageous, or corny, but can still be related to on some level.

Also, for you magic users - your powers will be horribly limited, especially in the early stages of this RP. Think Again, think of it as a battle on the Fields of Justice. You grow, you get paid. Both growth and pay are based on how you handle certain trials or events that will take place at my choosing. I myself will keep track of gold, with each of your help, and will inform to you when your power has expanded.

All of you must enter with some background information, such as; who you are, where you come from, what has brought you to fight for glory, riches, and possible death. Some of you may have been forced, others born into the lifestyle, and others may be blood thirst murderers. Not unlike certain Champions.

The setting is thus, you are each approached in your quaint, but hardly lavish chambers in the City of Noruk, the Home of the Ascended. Your visitor is one of your hosts, an Ascended warrior or mage who has fought and survived these trials and chosen to stay in the City and assist the newcomers. As each of you must be sponsored in some way. This is not a gift to fight here, but a privilege. The Ascended are usually in bright, vibrant robes, with few exceptions and are armored in certain areas, like their breast plate, gauntlets, and boots.

"Good morning." Light pours over you an you wake to a stranger, an Ascended - a figure you very rarely actually meet. As the blinding sensation subsides your eyes focus, you find yourself looking through steel bars on a plain, stone arena with massive pillars, covered in broken bones and stains of blood, and other questionable fluids. "I may or may not be your sponsor after tonight, but for now, you must prove to me what you are capable of. This is a mock battle, a magical simulation designed between you and other opponents not unlike yourself. There is no risk of death in this trial. However, there is risk of expulsion, which... can potentially lead to death.. So, put on a good show. The rules here are simple. Fight until you are the last standing. The victor will earn a much larger sum of gold, and will be favored when chosen by his or her, or... its sponsor." The Ascended looked up to a massive skylight which appeared completely ordinary. Moments later, the bars to your prison begin to rise. As they do, you remember who you were before you came to this place, who you've become, who you hoped to be, where you come from. Everything.

What do you fight for?

What do you seek?


The Ascended smiled under his hood, he raised his head and showed vibrant, radiant eyes of different colors for each Ascended. "I wish you luck."

((Before any of you actually fight, I must accept you. Also, on a very important side note....! Come prepared with more than one character. You might die. Have a nice day!))

So, with Steel's suggestion and the realization of how true what Necro says is - I feel we have to definitely fix this before it gets out of hand.

So, too simplify things - we will implement stats.

Each of you will start at level one, and have sats like a Champions. But, you will also have perks and weaknesses. The weaknesses obviously have to even out the perks in some way.

I will also make categories for types of fighters. Like, mage, power, assassin, tank and subroles like Lauran who is a Spellsword and would be hard to identify.

Delmegar Amaron - Lvl 1

Health: 435
Strength: 15
Attack Damage: 55
Ability Power: 10
Armor: 30
Resistance: 27
Speed: (agility/move speed) 315
Prowess: (a combination of your ad/ap and your attack speed which is not shown or necessary. This is marked in a percent value and can start at no more than 10%) 10%

Now I will moderate the growth of each of you and it will not be done based on levels. It will be based on how well you completed your task. For example.

Delmegar is a power champion. He very narrowly evades defeat by the team of Necromonger and Steelmill. As a result, his potential grows only slightly. However, as the task was to defeat both opponents - and he fulfilled this task - he is arewarded generously.

Victory Conditions: Defeat both adversaries. - Met.
Method of meeting this goal: Delmegar relied heavily on his skill with a weapon, and his martial skills. (The method also contributes to your growth. By relying heavily on natural ability, rather than spells or techniques your ad will go up, as well as prowess.

Delmegar Amaron - Lvl 2
Health: 435 -> 499
Attack Damage: 55 -> 62 -> 65 (This second add on is for comleting the task, and for doing it in a certain way.)
Ability Power: 10 -> 12
Armor: 30 -> 34
Resistance: 27 -> 29
Speed: 315
Prowess: 10% -> 12%

The add ons will be handled by me, and I will inform everyone before each scenario what requirements are. Also, I suppose we will go based on stats. Unless of course your perks come into play. Think of them as your character skills.

Perk 1: Shadow Corruption - Delmegar's basic attacks can inflict shadow damage and leave a Corrupt mark on his enemy. After 5 marks the targets shadow comes to life a for a few seconds, initially tooting the enemy with magic damage, and subsequently chases the enemy to inflict further physical damage upon each strike.

Perk 2: Mark of a Lord - As a Lord, Delmegar has learned how to deal with people efficiently. He gains small discounts, is able to persuade people more easily, and gains experience a little faster.

Perk 3: Rise of the Dark Phoenix - If Delmegar falls in combat after spawning an enemies shadow or shadows to fight, and their is still a shadow on the field, he will replace it upon death. However, if he resurrects throguh a shadow, the ability is placed on a cool down and will only add damge without spawning shadows.

Weakness 1: Bloodthirsty - When first initiating combat with someone, Delmegar is unable to control himself and will continue to attack for a few seconds despite being ordered to retreat.

Weakness 2: Frailty - Delmegar, especially after spawning a shadow, or after resurecting, is particularly vulnenable to light from all sources.

Weakness 3: Lone Shadow - Despite his great leadership abilities, when it comes to combat, Delmegar strongly perfers to fight solo. When fighting against an opponent, or outnumbered, he gains stats. When with an ally, or outnumbering opponents, he loses them.

Each of you are to come up with skills, weaknesses, and perks for your character. And The perks do not limit you to just those abilities. But they are particularly influential. Edit them into your first post, and let me know when it is done,

((Can't you use one of the normal city states? This Noruk place has no background or story that would tie a character there. Just your generic town.))

((Well, the city is not overly important initially. Really, it is a city that is built for training, breeding, and testing people/creatures to become stronger, or to become prospective Champions. And initially, how the "Arena-City" is portrayed would in no relate to city-states. The RP, at least at start, is completely focused around characters and their development.

And plus, as these Ascended, or veteran warriors of Naruk, have no background as well, or have never been mentioned by myself, a fresh start is kind of needed. But, at best I could possibly base it in Krizar City which some of you may or may not know about.

The characters should be completely random. Just like Champions. You have void born, warriors and mages from all over the continent, other worldly angellic figures. ancient spirits, etc. I think I would have to drastically narrow the RP by tying it into a single state, or the Institute of War since it is already home to Champions.))

((I have an interesting proposition....I want to do this rp as Phantom when he was still new to Runeterra. This would be his second month in the world so far. He being a natural warrior with some poorly self-taught magic that can enhance his melee capability. But he is still about 15 and still underexperienced. Though if you don't like the idea, I will make a new character.))

Who are you?
I am whatever you need me to be. I can bring a smile to your face with dance, protect you in your hour of need with the sword, whatever you need in a friend.
What is your name?
I am Jin, like my father before me and generations before. But I see no worth in my name. All it brings is death and chaos.
What do you fight for?
I don't fight for anything. I disarm, I protect, I dance. Never have I harnessed the true power of my blade. I honestly don't know if I serve any purpose in the world. I have responsibility, but to who or what I don't know.
What do you seek?
To see what I am in a strange world obsessed with death. I will find out what death means to those closest to it.

Equipment: Greatsword (5.6m long, 1.4m wide) , Clawed Gauntlet, Clawed Chains, Cloak, Armored Shroud

Perks:

-Umbral Gaze: Escewing the use of mortal eyes, Jin percieves the world by communing with the moon and sun directly. Certain stealth magics employed by enemies are rendered useless, while others are enhanced.

-Supreme Acrobat: Jin is able to perform unreal feats of balance and focus even while wearing full gear.

-Advanced Stealth: Using no magical augmentation, Jin is adept at concealing himself with his dark cloak.

Weaknesses:

-Noncombatant: Most of Jin's opponents in the past were especially petty and unskilled. Therefore in matters of handling his massive blade and gauntlet, he is unpracticed and lacks confidence.

-Lightweight: Jin's frame is especially small and frail. While this allows great maneuverability, if a resolute strike on him were to land, he would be in serious trouble.

-Sympathy: Death is an especially touchy subject to Jin. He is observed to be reluctant to kill under any circumstance.
