Teams will promote one player to be team captain for all concerns and issues during play.
$100 for a 5-player team ($20 per player on team and an additional $20 for substitute)
$25 for single person without team
75% of entry fee goes to cash for top 3 teams
Riot Points for top 4 teams if 10 team minimum is met
$200 per player for top team of credit towards a new gaming desktop, or current PC upgrade if 10 teams or more participate
Free 3 hour pass for each player $10 value
With 16 teams that means in total there will be about $3,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs.

Our next 5v5 LAN tournament will be Saturday September 29thth from 10PM until we finish. It will be double elim draft pick. $100 per team is the cost, 75% of that will go to the payout to the top 3 teams. We have applied for Riot support again, and expect to get it. We are hoping for a full 16 team bracket which would mean $1,200 cash would be up for grabs in a 6/3/1 split for 1/2/3 places. Riot points if received would go to the top 4 teams.

We will be live casting, and projecting this match for viewing in store.

I signed up earlier this week, we're driving 3 hours for this tournament!

10 PM seems like a pretty late start time for a tournament, especially if you get 16 teams.

I guess if you are old. Of course I can't kick out my entire Saturday business on something we will lose money on with the staffing and the cost of promoting etc. Plus I would be unable to run our regular repair business on consoles. It would be too crazy. We have done 2 of these, and I'm almost 40 and I can stay up fine.

Also we are sweetening the pot. The top team if we reach at least 10 teams will receive $200 each for each player of credit towards a new gaming computer from us, or towards an upgrade or optimization of their current system. The credit is not transferable, and includes labor and parts. Got a slow laptop? We may upgrade your memory, or put in a fast SSD. Video card slow in your desktop? Then you may get an upgrade. And I don't screw around. I have reviewed computer hardware since 1998, and even worked at Dell back in 99 before they came tumbling down.
