Honestly we do need stricter bans on ranked. I have had games where players have harassed me and my teammates and games where players have afked and games where players do not pick correct supports or do 2 top or 2 adc or even 2 mid... just because they "only know how to play mid". This kind of stuff is ruining the community and ruining the game... idk what more to say. all I know is when you mention reporting to anyone they laugh and just say idgaf. Honestly i might quit the game and go play DotA 2 because every ranked game is just one big fight between everyone.. and you may say just to play normals and not give a **** but honestly normals you don't learn anything about the game it usualy 4 tops and 1 adc and they just go where ever they want winding up with cait mid ww yorick top and akali rengar bot what do you learn from that nothing nothing at all... and drafts is like ranked but no one actually cares.

So what does every one else think about this problem...

I think Riot is making good progress to consistently improve the quality of the games and those who play them, so that this becomes less and less of an issue over time.

I don't think bans should be competition related.

The current ban systems are enough to take care of violations, and specific violations in rankeds is taken care of by matchmaking & elo.


If anything, maybe let behavior related violations (like AFKing, Tribunal punishments) reduce elo, so people who play properly and competetive ranked will have cleaner games.
