and Apparantly nobody gives 2 ****s because riot chooses to balance exclusively for ranked summoner's rift, where yorick is apparantly not viable because there are 2 champs that can beat him, but I want to know what is going to happen about yorick rolling over 2 or 3 champions at a time and stealing their point.

Riot can do allot , but they cant upload skill to people.
there are a number of champions that can walk all over yorric bot if played right .. yorric is actually very vulnerable in the early phase of the game where his only sustain is red ghoul and his cooldowns are still long because he has no cdr gear yet. also never forget yorric gets damage reduction with his ghouls out so its probbly a good idea to jump him when he just used them to push a wave. instead of waiting for ages so his cd's are up again
Most yorrics don't even have pots because they start boots/tear for max skill spam to push/harras.

Now that draft has been making somewhat of a resurgence, I've found that yorick isn't the most OP champion in Dominion. For one thing, an AD malz played well will fight yorick pretty hard, and at certain points in the game will beat yorick. If the top team has the time to spare for a gank or two that succeeds, then AD malz will beat yorick in lane. Now, in the last DD, our AD malz didn't do so hot vs elalya on yorick, but he did very well under the circumstances. If our team had done better top and been able to gank for him more, then its entirely possible he would have won, as he did in the first round vs jiggly the puff on yorick.

yorick is strong, no doubt, and beats a lot of the other bot champions. However he is not the most OP champion on the map, nor is he unbeatable. I would reserve the title of most OP for kassadin or jayce, as those two are just ridiculous.

Easy, a Wild Darius appears and rolls over Yorick's team even if Yorick is rolling bot lane.

Yorick has a few glaring counters.

-AD Malz does fairly well against him.
-Udyr should beat him throughout all of early-mid game, and can hold late.
-Urgot used to beat him, although I don't know how well he fares after the nerfs.
-Diana can beat the **** out of him if shes played well.
-Nunu wins hard late, although he has issues early.
-Jax can beat him.
-Jayce can win.
-Maokai, if played extremely well, wins once he gets a few items.

Skarner can also win, but it's an extremely even matchup where you have to out-skill him.

Basically, Yorick is far from uncounterable, and this makes him a much less-safe pick in draft and tournaments than he is in blind.

Kassadin is much more OP.

well draft queue is picking up after the penalty was reinstated. if you don't want to deal with him/counter pick him just play draft dominion. In blind, you're gonna run into those annoying to play against like kass jayce and yorick, but if you're gonna keep playing that blind pick I don't want to be rude but just suck it up and deal with it. You're gonna have to get used to that aspect of blind pick.

Riven can kill Yorick early but then she loses mid game.

Plenty of champs can stand up to yorick for the first 10 minutes. Problem is, unless it's a ridiculously fed vayne, as in, she's free farmed the whole game, and the entire enemy team with killing sprees have tower dived bot and fed her, once yorick gets the next two levels of his ulti, he's just going to walk up to the turret and faceroll you.

Number nerfs won't cut it until they do something about his ulti.
