My friend's been asking for a 1v1, where he'll be playing Yi. It'll be mid lane, not sure about jungle farming and etc.

Anyway, from the limited champ pool I have, I was thinking I would pick either Riven or Xin against him.

Both are decent early, much better than yi, and both are fairly good late.

I'd build quite a bit of CDR on Riven, probably ionian boots + brut and maybe even fro heart for the hell of it in addition to BT's, because the GA isn't so handy in a 1v1

For xin, i'd definitely grab a frozen heart, just because i can, in addition to a randuins, perhaps an Atma's in there.

Any additional comments?

Well, since Yi is all AD, just build damage and armor, Thornmail Bloodthirster etc...

You can get ninja tabi, but you wont be able to chase him, or get away.

Get promote and Ignite. Build Tmail, Mallet, get 2 BT and Boots.

morellos evil tomb = dead yi, just make sure you hit him with it when he tries to heal.

Thornmail DESTROYS AD Yi. If he's going AP, I'm not sure what to tell you since I don't have much experience going against a good one.

try randuin's omen too

any ap champ should kill yi easily...jax should kill him also

yi really isnt a strogn champ. He performs well vs noobs cause theypanic and try to run away and you cant dot hat vs yi...if you jsut fight him you usually win.

Ninja Tabi, Thornmail or Randuins omen. Warmogs along with Atmas along with BT. You should win every time
