does the pbe works on a 64 bit windows?

i change to a 64 bit version recently and i found that lol works fine but i cannot even initiate the pbe, so does it work on a 64 bit OS?

I use 64bit Vista and I just run the normal launcher as Admin. I can't get the admin launcher to work at all, but the other one I run as admin and it's fine.
