You are clueless if you actually BELIEVE Regi won't do anything to get better and that his ego actually blinds him like that. As someone said on another thread, that is just for show, to trash talk, to get into people's head, I'm sure he KNOWS they got outplayed.

You seem to not understand TSM and how they work.
When Regis talks bad about others he is doing it with sarcasms or cause some insider between the teams.
He also wants to heat up his team.

And HSGG and Doublelift trash talked about other teams (especially TSM), too, on their streams. But nobody takes it serious. This is a young scene and thisshould heat up the competition between the teams and the fans.

The idea behind the composition is simple. Sona/karth force an engage. Karthus suicides into team and drops team really low with defile + karthus ultimate. Darius cleans up low health players with ultimate and snowballs a team fight. Sona is also really strong against poke if she goalies the poke well enough. Built in aegis + pretty sustainable healing and her ultimate can be used to counter or force initiates.

Shyvana does not fit into that composition at all. Shyvana doesnt peel, her ultimate HURTS their engage because their window of opportunity is already short and dragons descent PUSHES a team away. When every tick of defile can make or break darius ultimate resetting or not being reset, the last thing you want is a knockback on your team.

That doesnt mean shyvana doesnt have her benefits. Shyv karthus brings absurd objective control. You can blitz barons, dragons, blues really quickly and your jungle team fight is really strong. However, if thats what they were going for, they shouldnt have picked such a toss up in top lane. It just baffles me that malphite was open and they didnt pick him.

Their ad carry was MF. MF ultimate is interrupt-able. Outside of MF ultimate her only real sources of damage comes from AA's. Naturally, attack speed slows are incredibly effective against her. Jayce is incredibly elusive but he can be killed if you hit him with a decent duration CC and darius can finish him pretty quickly. Blitzcrank can ruin a game for his team if he pulls the wrong target. TSM had one bad pull target(karthus) but other then that nothing else. They should have picked malphite

AF feared his mid laners, especially the Orianna he learned in the last week before the tournament (banned twice against him).

And Regi himself doesn't believe that he is the best, but saying it provokes the other mid laners a bit and he also wants to make this statement true, what should lead to a more focused and concentrate play on his side.

People have different mentalities and motivation is important. Some needs fans, others need to prove things, ...

TSM might be the 7th best team in the world, right now. They wouldnt have made it out of group stage for day one. With more team's joining S3, I predict they fall to 15th or worst and CLG.NA has a new roster. After S3 reg retires to manager.

My ever growing respect for Tryndamere increased greatly in this topic.

He derped this series. Everyone does. He hasn't been in something this big, he probably got cold feet. It's obvious the way he was pushing he wasn't himself.

Sorry but when you're a professional player playing at that level, excuses like that don't cut it. Saying he had one bad tournament won't cut it either, he has consistently shown he is not up to par, with only the herculean efforts of the rest of the team carrying them to victory. And this is not his first world tournament or even his 5th.

He just had a bad day...
