Hey guys, ive just recently started playing LOL and would love it if some of you more experienced players could recommend a champ for me to buy based on my play style (below).


I love burst damage, and being able to take down champions as quickly and as fast as possible. But I tend to find myself getting dominated in team fights or quickly ganged up on and destroyed in 2v1 and 3v2 type situations.\

What champs would you reccomend that have high burst damage, can quickly assassinate targets, but either arent that squishy, or have good esape abilities. (You dont have to reccomend an assassin perhaps, it could be a AP carry, or AD, or Range champ).

**EDIT: thinking about this, it looks like this kind of champ wouldbe everyones perfect champ. Well., anything you can offer is greatly appreciated.

kat akali and rengar

i have a really aggresive play style as well. all about them kills. here are my favorites for each lane because most not only do the damage but can survive team fights

top: yorick, irel, jax, olaf, AD fizz, rengar
mid: mord, ahri, cassiopeia, katarina, swain, akali
bot adc: graves, corki, ez, kog

Olaf is a solid choice. VERY burst with his Q-E early game, sustained damage throughout the game with his build/E. Extremely tanky with his R and he can't be CC'ed. He's a fairly strong laner and is pretty fantastic. Check him out (:

I would say Jax based on what you described as your play style.

you will find a lot of differnt builds on those champs via mobafire/any other websites with builds. here are my particular builds with those champions which do the best for me.

jax > boots > phage > merctreads > triforce > frozen heart > GA > warmogs

olaf > boots > phage > merctreads > frozen mallet > frozen heart > atmas > ga

rengar > boots > phage > merctreads > triforce > frozen heart (despite no mana, the CDR is amazing for him) > warmogs > ga

graves > boots > dble dorans > attck speed boots > Infinity edge > zeal > Last Whisperer > phantom dancer > GA

kat > boots > hextech revolver > sorcerer shoes > hextech gunblade > rylais > deathcap > voidstaff

I think Ahri would fit that description pretty well. Not an Ahri player though, so I can't really recommend a build.

Cho'Gath...

When you learn him you can build him AP and still be super tanky.

His abilities give you a ton of crowd control, and really lets you dictate the fights. He also can solo top (or mid sometimes) even against two opponents very easily.

Though his abilities don't do the most burst...his ult is AMAZING. being able to dominate a fight,and then flash to someone who is low and watch a 1/3 of their health melt as you eat them is awesome.

Fizz, Mordekaiser, and Olaf. They fit your description perfectly (well maybe not Morde but close enough).
