He's meh. Good clear time, but can't duel for **** against a real counterjungler like Shyvana. Rengar can bypass more wards with his ult, Maokai/Skarner/Nautilus all gank harder, can't stack gp5 like most junglers can because he'll feel extremely weak.

Plus his ult cooldown has been nerfed to oblivion.

Yes very good but if you want him to do a lot of damage you will need good synergy with your team or you have to build tankier. In short, he isn't as safe in solo Q as a tanky jungle but he has the most carrying potential of all junglers right now with his CC spell shield and ult.

I would if you learn to use his fear well his pre 6 ganks are really strong and then his ult is awesome

Absolute Garbage.

All he has is an AoE dmg proc, a single target fear, an AoE MS + AS buff, a spell shield, and a SUPER long range ult gap closer that removes vision.

I have Nocturne, but I don't like him. I could just be bad, but these are my opinions.

The main thing about him is that he COMPLETELY blows up in team fights early game. Build offense first, enemy team switches focus and he dies in a second, even with correctly used spell shield. Builds defense first, does **** for damage on his Q cooldown (and that is not even completely reliable). I just don't like him because he has no presence until he builds offense.

He has decent clear times, and pre-6 his ganks are very good, and better at 6. But I feel like unless he gets a few early kills, he has trouble catching up in gold to survive in teamfights. He requires an early Aegis or Frozen Mallet along with a Bloodthirster or something for damage.
