Who EVER built jax as AP? Lol. And he's lost too much AP scaling for that to work I believe.

EDIT: Actually 1.2 with leap+empower. Add lich and that'd hit like a truck. Could be fun in normals.

Yes, but its kind of like Yi where if someone tries to duel you they will die, but you're kind of meh in teamfights. DFG, QW lich bane hurts squishies so hard.

AP Jax does obscene burst but suffers from fragility. Without an escape mechanism or the defensive stats of a typical tanky-DPS he plays more like an assassin.

You should try AP Poppy, I got 2 shotted by one and I was carrying the game.

I used to build Jax AP when I only had AP runes.
It works alright and you have some pretty heavy damage on empower with lich bane.
but AD Jax is much better
