I was wondering if Riot would ever considering implementing a 'trade' or 'donation' function in which summoners could donate or give ip or riot points to friends. I really don't see how this could be abused, and think it would only help to enrich the gameplay of newer players, as their seasoned allies can donate funds in order to allow newer players access to more store features/champions.

Edit: if this feature already exists, it is well hidden.

The only way it could be abuse is by spamming lvl 3 accounts and xfering the free 400 RP.

Cept from that, it is a good idea.

perhaps they could 'section off' or 'flag' the 400riot points associated with a new account, to prevent this from occurring?

all i know is when I, or a friend, are only 20-100 riot points short of being able to purchase something, there are times i really wish we could donate or give in-game currency to others. Even if they were to limit it to 2-3 times a year, to ensure it wouldn't become 'gold farming' like in most MMOs, it would still be a great addition to the game, IMO.
