They wanted to support diversity, however with items like blade of the ruined king - this pretty much destroys any attempt at diversity.
Build blade of the ruined king on an autoattacking champion = win the game, hands down.
It is unbelievably stupid that this item was let loose and blackfire torch was nerfed into oblivion.
