Thank you for explaining in great depth and detail just how he is useless showing examples from past patches, matches and a little bit of theory-crafting and maths to back it up

Well for items I seem to see a bunch of the ones i play run around with a Yomuu's Ghostblade. Though my friend who started using him thinks its pointless since he gets free crits on low health heroes anyway.
Think he's doing it wrong.

Think he's doing it wrong.
Yomuu's gives you armor pen, CDR and damage, which are the three stats Pantheon needs. Plus you can use it while chasing or running away, and the 8 seconds of bonus attack speed are generally all you'll need to get a tower down. The crit bonus is icing on the cake.
