What if DFG was a short range PBAoE?

With some cool fire effect.

Similar to Kat's W. But firey.

Short range, high cooldown, same damage the current DFG does (already nerfed from rework), but AoE.

Would it be more worthwhile after those nerfs?

EDIT: Nevermind just the fire effect. It's called DEATHFIRE GRASP. How about flaming dark hands coming out of the ground "grasping" at things. In a short range AoE like Kat's W.

It would be cool but the AOE might be a bit much. Probably worth experimenting with though.

Nerf Veigar more. It's not like anyone cares about him or anything. Clearly Riot didn't care about Veigar's fate in the DFG nerf either.

Well... the problem here is Veigar not DFG.

A champion shouldn't HAVE to rely on an item every game to be remotely effective. That's a design mistake IMO. The item shouldn't make the champion.
