A true pro gamer should be making a moderate salary if they're actually actively doing the things that can make them money. However to be honest, it's not an ideal lifestyle. In some ways, they dedicate far more to their "careers" than any similar-class salary. The only benefit is that they can probably say unlike most careers at this level, that they really love what they do (Most of the time)
