I guess my question is then if i plan on going mid is it better to go with energy blues, or mr blues?

I currently use the energy blues, but thats becasue i feel terrified of running out, while surviving the harass isnt really my main problem.

Also i chose armor pen marks. Seem to work very well.

Armor pen reds Armor Yellows scaling magic resist blues and either flat Ad or ArP

Build him like Talon.
Brutalizer, BT, Triforce, LW(sell brutalizer), GA, Health Item
Armour Pen Reds, Flat Armour Yellows, Flat MR Blues, Flat AD Quints.

And depending on the kind of team you are up against, either max Q or E first(I prefer E because of its low CD)

You like using the word "tad" don't you? I don't think it means what you think it means.

I run standard Arpen reds, armor yellows, mr/level glyphs and atkdmg/lvl quints as I do on any other AD carry. He's decent top, terrible jungle (decent clear but bad gank) and great mid; most of the time you play top though you'll lack the sustain bruisers have--you're better laning with another adc like Riven, Talon, Panth etc. Standard build is CDR boots, Youmuu's for more CDR to spam, Triforce, and as many BTs as possible. Switch BT if: 1) heavy armor, get LW 2) strong enemy AP, get Maw 3) GA for survivability.
