The title is pretty explicit. The recommended item list should be something alterable, so you can take the items you plan to build. There are different ways I see it could be implemented :

-Pages : You choose a set of items at champion selection, like masteries and runes.

-By character : You can create a list of items for a specific champion out of game and when you play this champion, it loads the set automatically

-In game : You can drag and drop items on the list in game, and rearrange the set to fit the actual situation.

So what do you think of it all. Should it be added to the game ?

That's a neat idea! Idk though, i personally enjoy the ~flow~ of swimming through the item list on a familiar champion. it just feels right, ya know?

Well, you can still search in the item list as usual to look for new ideas, but sometimes, in game, you want to be able to select an item you need very fast so you can go back on the field in a split-second.

This would be sick if Riot implemented it. But this has been suggested so many times that I doubt they will change they will implemented it.

Riot might implement the technology for people to create their own recommended item lists in the future, but if the demand is high enough Riot would probably implement it as soon as possible.
