Is anyone here disgusted by the idea of germs?

I've never really understood this. Personally, I am only bothered by things that make me visibly, tactily, or olfactorally dirty. I'm curious about how you guys think of things that are "germy."

Do you squat when using public toilets? What do you do if you find a hair in your food? Why?

I used to work bottle return. After having dealt with all manner of human waste and fluids+rotten limes in stale beer+dog shit+used baby diapers+a million other things people throw away at bottle return...

I have to say the only thing that grosses me out is rotten food. ick.

I'm unphased by germs...

Yeah, I used to clean bathrooms, so it doesn't really bother me much.

The way I see it, my saliva/urine/blood is no less gross than anyone else's.

I'll read the fungi stuff later, sounds interesting.

I could never eat something off of the floor.
I could never shake hands with someone who doesn't wash their hands after going to the bathroom.
I could never touch someone who smokes pot or stand to be in a room with such human garbage for too long.

I have eaten insects(Chocolate Grasshopper).
I have eaten seafood.
My mouth, like everyone else's mouth, is a putrid cesspool of infection.
