Now, morello even agreed in one of the thread complaining about not having highest queue displayed in normals.

Normals are different than rank, displaying only solo queue is like promoting solo queue other than 3s or 5s.

Now people saying 3s and 5s are easier which is not true. Otherwise, everyone could have janna skin and diamond badge already.

The thing is, it "was" stated as diamond border for diamond tier player but different icon for different queue.

The announcement from 2 weeks ago changed this, which didn't let the players who have skill but didn't spend much time on solo queue for variety reason to have a chance to earn it.

Overall, if Riot thinks it is too easy to earn diamond in 3s and 5s based on highest elo and 5 wins; you should have thought carefully instead of just taking what was promised away from us.

Riot could have made it more difficult like base on current elo not just taking away the rewards.

Upvote and bumps for supporting please. It is just not fair and not right.

Well some teams that 3s could have been on vent/skype which makes it insanely easier in coordinating a game, adding in the fact that those groups have been in countless matches together and have eventually syngerised. Although it cannot be proven whether players did this, it cannot be disproved either.

Thus solo que is a more definitive figure of analyzing a person's ability to sync with random strangers... which is what essentially happens in normals.

I agree, I'm primarily a Dominion and TT player. It's not that I dislike SR, I just want shorter games. I got to gold in solo and 5's queue and just stopped there.

It's actually kind of funny to see Dominion games right now -- because it goes by solo queue, there's like 1 diamond player, 2 platinum players, 100 gold players, 3 silver players, and 4 borderless players. Would really make things look better if it used the highest queue for normals instead of just solo.
