Why not just a frozen mallet? more slow, all of his abilities proc except the one that would stun through most of the duration anyways, and more health

Only for the old jax: Gunblade, Guinsoo, Rylai, Atma...

You already get a slow proc from TF. You really don't need more damage between TF and Gunblade. Warmogs is better for tankiness.

before the rework.. yes, you could have a great AP jax, passive and empower would do tons of damage!
Now? don´t get it.. get trinity force or frozen mallet and build from there.

This isn't 2010 where full AP Jax was a thing.

It can be effective.

Rylai's provides more offense for Jax than Mallet.
