Man... Ionic Spark is where SO many of my kills come from... people running away on low health, thinking they're out of the woods, then *BPBPBZZZT*, this arcing flash travels across a bunch of minions and hits them straight in the butt.

I think the day i go into a game, and EVERYONE on the team has purchased it... is a day I cry tears of laughter and AWESOME.

(Are there any other weapons that do this same effect? Tiamat is similar, but doesn't have that same, far-reaching DEATH attribute).

Why remove it? league already doesnt have many item choices, way to get rid of a bunch of them.

As to the original post...

Players do not die like that. They are not stupid, they understand what the item does. Anything and everything works in Co-op vs AI, which is apparently the only thing you play. The item is almost always bad and it's confusing as to when it's just okay (it's never great). Riot is removing it so that you aren't fooled into buying it when it sucks.

4 attacks IS does 125 damage

Four attacks with Wit's End, 168 damage to one target.
Four attacks with Ionic Spark, 500 damage spread across four targets.

Wit's End gives resist, good against magic damage.
Ionic Spark gives health, good against magic, physical and true damage.

While true, Wits won't bounce from 3 minion's length away and kill you.

How is IS good against magic physical and true damage.

If you get LS to counter ad or true damage your build is really bad.

IS also shoves your lane and you don't want that unless you're split pushing with shen. Have fun being ganked every 10 seconds since your lane is at their tower

OH and usually when I fight the other team they all stand in the same spot and NOT MOVE so I can get off 4 consecutive attacks and proc my passive on ALL of them.

Also for tanks brusiers resistance > hp. Your will already have a base of 2400~ hp with most tanks and bruisers + w/e hp from defensive items. Wits is far better for countering specific damage
