What is the best overall combination ?

1. Armor Penetration oriented.
2. Magic Penetration oriented.
3. Mixed.

1) 24.93 A + 5.94 M
2) ~~~~~~ 21.03 M
3) 15 A + 15 M

1) A total of 30.87
2) A total of 21.03 (but more magic penetration)
3) A total of 30

It depends on what champion you are playing. Kayle, for example, would benefit from mixed, whereas Tryndamere would much rather have Armor Pen.

flat pen is usually the best but some hybrid champs can work with split pen but that shouldn't be recommended.

Second option would be the worst ? (since you get less then 30 penetration in total)

Remember first option costs only half of the 3rd one.

Why can you only get 21 magic penetration and not 30 ? Because less items that give magic resist ?
