just played a game with kayle and didnt notice any effect from hurricane on kayle in ranged form.

I believe Xypherous said it is coded to not work with Kayle's ranged attacks because, as opposed to any other person with range, Kayle's ranged attacks are instant rather than projectiles.

Since Runaan's Hurricane shoots projectiles, it would lead to some odd inconsistencies in the speed.

But he also explained that he may go back and refit it when used by Kayle specifically, perhaps to make the mirror arrows instant as well.

the problem is the item has great potential on Kayle and can be very misleading if it doesnt work on just one hero.

thanks for the response. looking forward ot the avenue they approach. I was 21-2 from the jungle so selling didnt hurt that much. If the game was much closer tho...

It doesn't work on Kayle for the same reason it doesn't work on Draven's axes or Sivir's W. It's a spell.

It would be kinda OP on Kayle I think. She already has good AoE with her E, so Hurricane would give her a lot of AoE damage. Also, with Hurricane, she would become the best pusher in the game at late-game, no matter if she goes full AD or hybrid. The only thing that would bother me would be when E deactivates and she goes back to melee, but then again, that is annoying anyway

Also, Kayle's E is a modifier, not an "autoattack spell" like Sivir's W or Gangplank's Q. Hurricane should work on Kayle the same way it works on Jayce, Nid, or Elise.

Why are people downvoting my post? Hurricane doesn't work on Draven's axes or Sivir's W. They're attack modifiers/spells, just like Kayle's E.

Don't forget guys that Kayle is also a melee champion. Just because she has a spell that enchants her autoattacks doesn't mean she becomes a ranged champion, unlike, say, Nidalee or Jayce.
