I'm having some latency issues when playing LoL, and I want to test my ping outside of LoL so I don't always have to go into a custom game to know if I'm lagging or not. I know I can use the ping function in cmd but I don't know what the IP address or the hostname for the NA server are.

I looked at this page: https://support.leagueoflegends.com/...r-ip-addresses but the addresses timed out.

Riot, what hostname or IP address can I use in cmd to test the ping to your NA server outside of LoL?

Ping functions to Riot Servers are disabled in order to prevent DDoS attacks.

If you want to get a good idea of your connection to servers in CA, try running a netalyzr scan.

That would explain why pings to those IP addresses didn't work. Thanks for letting me know.

Do you mean this? http://n1.netalyzr.icsi.berkeley.edu/ ?

I just did one of those tests now, and the results have so much detail! That's awesome, thanks!
