This may be "necroing" a topic from 2 years ago, but...

Why doesn't Irelia's kit and model fit her concept very well?

The floating blades are only part of her ultimate, and her current model is quite far from the concept?

Just curious.




I realize that her waist and breasts are ridiculous, but I preferred the blue theme w/ black hair, rather than Irelia's red theme w/ blue hair (Irelia y u lollipop)

Well, she may have had no waist and had giant breasts, but that can be changed, but the color scheme was changed (now red lollipop) and the floating blades only made it in game through Irelia's ultimate.

I guess it's just a matter of taste. I really dislike the blue color scheme, and I like her big floaty weapon. I think the blades coming out for the ult is enough, since the ult is generally when a champion brings out their full power, like Riven's BFS.

actually thought she was a ranged champion when I was new because her splash had floating blades :/
