Yeah, you'll have to choose which t2 upgrade you want based on your t3 upgrade. Makes sense, or you could do something like this:

Death Augment for lane phase -> Best t3 upgrade.

Not really balanced.

I believe SolCrushed said part of the reason for it was so he could also make one of the base augments weaker, but have a stronger next level in compensation.

Just think it would be fun and allow people to get creative, if allowed to pick and choose.
