Im confused is chat not showing everything?

I just had a couple of cases were people claimed that the reported player had said some offensive words.... but as i look through the chat its not showing that. Does mean that they were lying or is the chat not showing everything?

I've had this too, and I'm not exactly sure. Maybe it's a bug or nobody actually talked during the entire game.
