Nami's almost been out for a few days. What does the community think of the new support champion?

Post your opinions. What is she good at, not so good at. Are you ever "afraid" of her if you are against her or do you ever feel a Nami has done something "clutch" when she was on your team?

I've played about 7-8 games against a Nami, 5-6 with one, and 3 as Nami, so my opinion isn't based on a ton of data, but I think she's actually a bit underpowered. As a support main I saved up IP specifically to buy her shortly after release and I got enough earlier today (this is also the first time I didn't wait until Free Week to buy a new champion).

I'm 2-1 with Nami and, although I did very well with her in my last game, I don't think she's that great of a support. I'd prefer to go Janna if I want an AA buffing, multi-AoE CCing support. The one thing Nami is good at is healing. Her heal offers phenomenal sustain if maxed first, even without bounces. It's like having a pre-Heal Nerf support: that's all I'm good for. Sustaining health... I don't even feel like I do much in teamfights except that, toss out my heal. That and E the ADC. I rarely am able to land a Q on more than one enemy. Sure, I ult at the start of the fight, but even then it feels underwhelming. Not at all like Sona's ult or Janna's ult where I can see that I've ruined the enemy's day.

A week? She came out yesterday...

her ults base damage needs a increase.... that and shes super squishy so its really hard to be able to do anything without heart of gold.. I feel like I HAVE to rush aegis so I can stay alive..

EDIT: also riot said she was a aggressive support.. she cant agress. at all. put her vs a zyra and ur lane loses

No, i actually remember my game crashing yesterday... only to be welcomed with a patch, when i logged on nami was available for purchase.

For you it might be yesterday if it's still Saturday. For me it's Sunday morning. Friday was her release.

legs are required for jumping, dancing

Grab an early ruby sightstone, just about the same amount of health (20 more infact iirc) and it gives you a rechargable ward slot so your not dumping so much gold into it, base stone is only 700g, the ruby sightstone is like 1100 total, it's fairly good for the price cost.

Honestly, I think her ultimate needs a slight tweak increased speed, the damage is fine, it does a fair amount of CC.

Her Q bother's me due to the fact it has a delay no matter how far it has to travel, I'd really think if she threw it at her feet it'd be instant, not still a half second delay before going off, it's not something I can't get used to, just something that bothers me.

Her W is kinda twitchy at times, sometimes, when I use it to trade, I can be inside of the range when it hits the enemy, but if I move out of range just barely as it's about to jump back (As in it's already hit the champion, and is about to jump) it will cancel the jump back

Just a few things I noticed while playing her.
