Mids losing horribly to black cleaver talons

To be fair talon has always been a good counter to mages. Just no one played him because AD caster itemization was garbage.

i mained talon b4 the new cleavers came out. talon destroys almost every ap mid and capitalizes on mistakes by the enemy. this was how it always was and still is. people are just mad they got facerolled, so they just blame it on black cleaver rather than ur mids mistakes.

but the counter is still the same. cho mid, darius, renekton, etc. just send ur ap jungling or top (swain, diana, etc)

Talon is a strong counter to AP mid champs, no surprise there. The only difference is now it's worth it to play talon since you can actually build items that complement his kit, it just so happens that those items are stacks of cleavers. No more OP than mages building AP tank items.
