Monarchs suck. Play a real deck like Wind-Ups, Rabbit, or MerAtlanteans.

Also cold wave is banned bro. If you must play monarchs play a real FrogNarch deck or LancerFrogs.

All else fails play an Agent Variant or Chaos Dragons.

Chaos Emperor Dragon...my favorite card ever.
If you went with standard +1 format, I would always pick CED over every other Forbidden card.

I stopped playing Yu-Gi-Oh when the DS series came out. I prefer classic, rather than all the new tuner things.
