Riot hasnt given this to us yet...

We have asked for the report pregame for a couple of years.... Riot can see those logs as can the players themselves, just not tribunal

Vote kick is necessary though to lower the dodge rate... dodging is to avoid trolls while being punished for avoiding them...season 3 punishment is too extreme

Communicate with your team about your pick and why... Communication is key and thats why there is in game reporting for failure to communicate.

If you pick viable for the team and your team understands your reason... you will be fine

This entire community is illiterate. There is no "communicating" in champ select no matter how hard you try. You conform to your team's preconceived notions OR "you are a troll" in their eyes.

Honestly, I have dodged maybe 3 games in the last year because of not wanting to play them out. All of my other dodges were simply because something came up and I had to get off. Not my problem you want to dodge every game you think your odds of winning are low.

You don't get punished by dodging because the trolls "made" you dodge. You get punished for dodging because you're forcing 9 other players to wait longer to play a game.

Trolls can't actually make you dodge, it's voluntary; and by dodging, you are voluntarily forcing others to wait longer. That's why you are punished for it.

In ranked queue... you see it often that teamates discuss who will dodge the troll at any ranking...

People take turns based on timer penalty of waiting till you can play again.

This means yes.... people are punished for avoiding trolls and many times are nice enough to take the timer hit for the team

Even if this isn't the best idea, SOMETHING is going to have to be done to curb the obvious trolling opportunities the tier-up matches offer. The amount of rage and reports during these matches are going to quadruple as well. The only way this can work is if the promotion games only involve players that are all qualified for the promotion. Then at least everyone has more incentive to take the matches as seriously as possible. And what if you get stuck 5th pick in a promotion match? At lower elo, you can't seriously carry games as support. Top or mid feeds, and you're powerless to change the outcome. It's literally a dice roll at that point, and you can't dodge to try for a higher slot. You could easily have to grind out another 20+ games to get another chance for promotion because of random factors.

That's not even touching the matter that you can drop back down a tier after a hard won promotion series because of trolling or bad teammates, forcing you through the same process you just went through AGAIN. No, this is going to end is record breaking numbers of tribunal reports in ranked and it was already a bad environment.
