for those that saw him as an op nuisance and are now celebrating the incoming yi nerfs i've got some bad news

you've never bothered to carry cc, build magic resist, hp or defense items in general
you've never bothered to look up his mechanics to avoid giving him guaranteed alpha strikes in lane
you've never bothered to counterpick and would rather scream for nerfs than do a little thinking to figure out which champs counter him in lane and game (there are quite a few)

your skills are still inferior and you will still get dunked

it's hard to meditate outside of CCing range.

i didnt have any trouble laning against ap yi as malz yesterday. am i doing it right?

There's so much counterplay to AP Yi and it's totally fun to everybody who isn't playing him. Fun for his team who don't get to do the last hit on their kills and fun for enemy team because AP Yi is totally balanced. 4.0 AP Ratio on a heal that also gives you 300 Armor and MR? Perfect balance. Saving CC totally works against him too, since he doesn't get his full health back from 1-2 ticks later in the game and can't just zhonyas if you try and focus him. And to top it all off. you're an unbiased judge on the matter, since you don't play Yi much. Only your most played ranked champ and most played champ in last 10 games period.

No one played Cho, Talon or Fiddles against him

He's still beat by 33% of the champs in the game without being a total fool or understanding how to be patient.

Still OP because he is countered by 33% of the champ pool and two items depending on builld?

He is also hard countered by buying into MR. Getting 50% reduction is cutting his single damage skill in half (hence all his item purchases being cut as well).

AP Yi getting a nerf is telling me that this game company has succumb to fools who really have no counter argument to the fact that he is flat out beat hard by a large set of items and champs.

He is not hard to beat, and hasn't been hard to beat since beta.
