What's the best way to build her? I love playing Eve and I won't let this stupid nerf stop me.

Reasonably sure it's hybrid, if not still just AP/Mpen.

Not viable either, Gunblade is way to weak and way to expressive. She is too squishy and with the nerfs to life steal and spell vamp it just sucks.

Hybrid items takes too much away for viability of using her abilities due to her ratios, and not worth it for ad due to her defensive stats. She can't afford to stay close or she'll melt.

Bruiser style isn't really good because she can't stick to a target long enough with the lack for base damage to do any good.

Really AP is still the only real way to play her, but she is only good at 1 on 1 match ups now. Don't get into team fights. It's just not worth the hassle.

Her Q is way too random to be any good during a team fight honestly. If it prioritized the lowest health Champion then I would say she may be viable team-fighter again.

Far from it, it's still more viable than straight-melee-carry type builds.

I just feel Hybrid may actually be competitive now on account of her ult being used as an opener instead of a finisher. Gotta test later.

Build her the same, the only change you have to make is to use her ult to initiate rather than finish.

I haven't had a chance to try her in 5v5 yet, but I imagine that the moment you see everyone standing together and you get the go ahead from your team, you drop your Ult then sprint off to reposition while your CCers dive in. The ult needs to land first, but it just adds to the chaos. As the enemy team dissolves, you lead with DFG on your target and then business as usual.

Best bang for your buck would be MP style. Try to get your damage to do as much as true damage as possible to make your ult not useless. It now has to be the thing you lead with. but don't be surprised if you can't get the kill.

Your W now is the only way for an escape and should only be used as such. She is too squishy to use it as a chase and now that your ult isn't a kill skill you may not be able to reliably reset it.

As for lane, can still do both mid/jungle, but in either way she has to have blue to make it viable. Her CD needs to get up as soon as possible and will be tough with out sacrificing damage. As a jungler, you may have to tell your mid laner to sorry but no blue for you.

As a tanky derp, how else? That's clearly how every single champion is meant to be played.

I mean, look at her. She has a dps tool, is sticky and has natural tankyness. Whatever you do, include a Warmog's in your build.
