I'm Windows 7 (x64) now and the problem persists.

Please guys, correct it. I like to use my global hotkeys while playing. They make the whole thing easier.

No they don't conflict. They just wont work while the game is on. Also very often alt+tab isn't working.

Same problem with foobar2000 here (Windows 7) and every other game allows me to control the audio in-game, so...

I use the same, occasionally my winamp keys work, occasionally they dont~

I wish I had more info on the conditions, but it seems so random~

It DOES work with buttons that are keyed directly from the keyboard, like custom media buttons and whatnot.
i use media keys and they don't work for me when i'm playing lol either

edit: i don't know if it matters, but i just tried running lol in windowed mode, and my hotkeys still didn't work unless i clicked somewhere outside the game
