Guys chill out. He wasn't saying being nice would win all games. He means having a positive attitude can lead to other things that win a game. Just trying to show us to be as kind as possible and have fun and you can win games.

I played a 5 man premade game yesterday. Our mid was Akali and gave first blood to Voli. Then our jungler ganks Voli and dies. Then they try to 1v2 Voli and Voli gets a double kill. So we kept playing for 30 minutes making it a game to "feed the bear" and tried to only die to Voli.

It was probably the most fun I'd had in awhile.

There are players out there whose mechanical skills surpass mine. I can lose lane and still win the game against these players. I do this because I do not give up a game because I went into late game with a disadvantage. I do this because my team work skills are better. I have won games by getting a chance to recover and dominating late game.



I had a dominion game recently. I went bottom and I crushed it. I just dominated my opponent. It reached a point where someone else came bottom, lost to me too, and I took the tower. During this time the 4 other members of my team where losing top and unable to take it! At one point I held 2 bottom for over a minute before they where able to take my tower. After which I struggled to recover outnumbered.

So there I sat. Angry. It wasn't that a 2v1 happened and I felt like shifting blame. It's that I held 2 people bottom for a significant length of time and my team mates couldn't handle a 3v4! I wasn't in a good mood and thought about saying something. I wanted to. I told myself it wouldn't help. So I took a breath in, sighed, and kept playing. I said nothing. Even as we where reduced to sub 20 points to the opponents ~300. Our points left halted at 1 as we took 3 points.....

Final score? 1:0.

My team won that game. We had one left and held that point through great team work and roaming from the 4 top. Had I raged and said anything negative. I would have surely lost that game. I'd have shattered the desires of team mates to win. As much as my skill may have kept us in the game... by raging I would have been as much at fault for losing it all.

I wasn't positive. I wasn't negative. I said nothing. I won a Dominion game 1:0 as a result. That's all you have to do sometimes.

Its hard when you have "that bad game" and your team is constantly reminding you of it. You can shrug it off but it just gets really annoying when your team decides to selectively observe only the things you do wrong, yell out GG, and then turn a blind eye to you contributing immensly in the teamfights.

Had a game like that today where everything seemed to go wrong for me. Got counterpicked in mid, the enemy bruisers got so beefy that my spells couldn't do enough damage to them, and my skillshot snare was too easily dodgeable by the squishy katarina and ezreal..... Game essentially fell apart, and the nail in the coffin was me getting caught by the massive CC their team had when I was trying to waveclear off of our turret. Couldnt deny that i significantly contributed to our loss...... after the people saw i wasnt really counter-raging they at least admitted they wouldn't report or anything. =/

I am of the opinion that most players know when they are having a bad game, so raging at them in chat is only going to make you their enemy, not the other team. I've been in games where multiple people were raging at someone who got off to a bad start on bottom and all I could think of is when was that game going to end. Even when I'm not on the receiving end, having someone like that on my team just pisses me off.

I'm to the point where if I see someone being reported for leaving/afk and I see that he was getting abused by his teammates, I'll pardon the guy because frankly I've been in enough games to know that being abused by your teammates isn't fun and you shouldn't be forced to endure that.

I wish the other team would quit even when they were winning more often...

Why is this even a thread?

This is just a normal's game to be honest. I don't understand why people care about winning or losing in normals.... The only reason to play it is to have fun.
