(I will say upfront this is a slight rage thread about people that CHOSE to lose the game from the champ select that I keep getting matched with, it's a bit entertaining though if you care for a read)

Is there any reason WHY you start at 0 LP when you promote? I know you get a few free losses before a de-rank but I just don't get why they don't put you at 50 like if you fail a promotion.
I literally lost three games in a row after a promotion, the first game was a good game, the enemy team did well and earned their victory.
The second loss was because our Jungler got angry at the mid player for their mid choise in champ select, and for dying (once, and only once) in lane. By the team fight time the enemy Kat was 2,1,1 (apparently fed to hell) so he AFK'd and we lost because of that.

And now for the STUPIDEST loss that I have ever have had the annoyance to have (and that de-promoted me just for a kick in the teeth). In the champ select no one really said anything (best way to get a good team ever/sarcasm) But we got it worked out. I was going as the ADC and I selected Ez. The person going support INSTANTLY started spamming me with "don't go Ez" "he sucks" "He can't farm"
So not wanting to let the crybaby whine more then he already was I picked ashe (the enemy team was graves and taric as last pick, but I'm fairly decent at ashe) This however cause him to rage EVEN MORE then when I had Ez selected (of course not until 15 seconds later when the lock-in kicked in and it was to late) so he locked in support jarvin and just said GG we lose. Report this Ashe. Normally I just give people benefit of the doubt, and said "come on man, just play we can do this" to which he kindly said "**** you, idiot"

The game went and I started noticing rather quickly that I could never see taric. Jarvin basically just AFK'd on the tower and hurled insults at me, all the while managing to let taric have free rein over me when I tried to farm. I finally got annoyed as asked "are you seriously going to throw this game just because you didn't like my champ select? Are you that petty?" To which he said "Yes I am, you ****ing ******. Why would you counter yourself!?" (there was more about me being down 20 CS and him ignoring the fact that he was literally just leeching EXP and contributing no help that was the cause of this) despite all this I managed to leave lane 2,2,1 and him at 0,3,1. I had muted him by then because I said if he can't mature up a bit I don't care to hear him, he was distracting and I needed to focus.

As the game went on he decided attacking me with verbal abuse wasn't going to lose the game faster and must have turned on morg and trundle (both of which were doing fine) they ended up arguing about elo and trundle turned on me saying my build was **** to the point of all chatting it and getting the rest of the enemy team laughing at him because it really wasn't (beserkers, bloodthirsters, and a zeal) as this went on trundle ended up falling way behind where he was and morg started missing a lot of binds allowing free kills to escape quite often (igniting more rage from trundle and soon irellia too)

Eventually we started to get some even footing and things started looking up. I was 5,2,4 at this point and jarvin was 0,5,3. We we're doing good winning several dragon fights and taking some towers. Jarvin didn't like the fact that we we're winning and started just leaving the team at random points, ignoring the fact that he should have been warding as the support tank, and all the while managing to give more kills. Trundle soon got aggravated at this and ended up doing the same thing as he didn't care to try to help the team anymore. The enemies got a Baron, and this was the last straw for trundle. He officially just went bot and started pushing for the rest of the game managing to accomplish nothing but lose several tower and get angry at us for not waiting for him to start fights (that were initiated by the enemies)

In the end we lost, I got deranked, and I'm sure I got three reports (for my HORRID score of 5,4,8 /sarcasm) and jarvin was 0,9,9 (getting most of the assists at the end) and the team still arguing for about 4 mins after the ending screen.

Now I'm faced with the task of climbing back up (again) from silver 3 to silver 2 knowing that this is possibly what I'm going to keep getting. Lovely.

Try being gold 5 playing with silvers non stop losing over 20 points if you lose and gaining only 8 when you win

The point win/loss is complete bull**** at the moment. You should not lose 3-4 games worth of wins in a streak to 1 loss. That was never how it worked before and shoudln't be how it works now. You basically have to win 10+ in a row to advance at all which is nigh impossible in any elo except maybe tin bronze and that's if you are smurfing and playing hypercarries.

You got depromotationalised? Damn.

New system is a POS and season 3 is so unbalanced its silly.

One last bump before I go off, just to see if anyone else has any opinions on this XP

You get some games where you can lose without getting demoted, but if you get promoted and you lose 5 ranked games in a row, you should probably try it again after you got a bit better.

The System says that you can play around 3 games and lose them all without getting demoted. But after that, you will have to make some wins. Getting demoted is actually pretty hard to achieve.
