Like i said. Early game.

If one of those types of heroes are giving your push comp a hard time. You are not doing it right.

problem is, it's not ONE of those types of heroes

it's usually 3 or 4 now

focusing the carry is fine when there's only one carry, but that's highly unlike.

twitch laughs at any attempts to push; his splash can exec calling every hero and creep on your team, then you're slowed/nuked.

trynd spins through your creeps usually enough to cut them down so one more AoE of any kind (looking at you, volley) will finish them, then proceeds to go invincible while 2shotting your team, with his own massive slow preventing you from escaping.

yi... need i say more? alpha strike = 50% chance of stopping a push dead, and ofcourse he has the highest damage output in the game.

ashe arrows and volleys; stuns someone on your team, slows the rest, nukes the creep wave to death.

sivir... this one's the biggest nobrainer. And she's on most teams now because her AoE steroid makes the other 4 physical dps that no doubt exist on said team unbelievable. she can also farm up a starks in like 8 minutes.

so there you go, the 5 physical dpsers who just lost you the game.

If they are playing ashe/yi/siviar/trynd/twitch. You probably won the dragon fight, the lizard fight, and dominated atleast one lane. You should be far ahead in both gold and experience by the time you are pushing. If you push multiple or opposite lanes then you force them to engage you in smaller scale battles where they have no hope of bursting you down.

these physical characters need time to get gold. If they get the gold they need they will beat you, this i am not disagreeing with. My whole premise is that with a push comp they will not get to that point in the game.

Ontop of that all these heroes are gold intensive and thus they screw their lane mates via last hitting. Jungeling is also not an option as your lane presence is lackluster.

volley + alpha strike + glaive + spin is ~400 AoE damage at level 1. They also do a lot more DPS than your standard push team after that AoE burst. And they have twitch to scout so they can initiate.

There is really no downside to that team comp as of this patch.

I gave you plenty of downside, but you choose to ignore it.

all of your downsides rely on this team losing the level 1 fight

assuming you can somehow ignore your entire team dropping by almost 400 HP (when your average hero has 500 at level 1), and then being faced with 5 heroes who do more damage than you... lol, okay. total victory there.

twitch, ashe and sivir have amazing lane presence and can easily babysit yi and trynd against your weaker lanes until they're able to jungle alone.

Taric/sivir/alistar/Cardmaster/trynD

Vs.

Ashe/Yi/Trynd/Twitch/siv

Team 1 has a HUGE advantage in the early team fight.

BARING this the lane presence of such a comp is HUGELY superior to your comp.

ON TOP of that 4 of the 5 heroes you posted REQUIRE vast amounts of gold. This in itself is a disadvantage of your comp. You will either have 4 moderate dps'ers or 3 decent dps'ers with 2 ****py dps'ers bringing up the rear.
