Come on everyone knows engineers don't need sleep, food, or social lives. I mean designer dreams and plots then goes home. Engineers are chained to their desks with drip bottles of energy drinks and snack pellets. Should crank those things you mention in what 2 -3 days.. a week tops?
I mean if you guys really try you can crank out a new game every 2 months because development cycles are all over extended needlessly by things like prototyping, testing, and retesting. Have a good New Year guys. Keep up the good work |
i can also tell poorly written code just by looking at the running software... and LoL is a shining example of what i highly suspect is a poorly designed load of spaghetti. ESPECIALLY the PVP.net client (though it's obvious a separate team is working on it).
bad code is also probably why they can't add new features since the framework is impossible to work with. its like trying to tune a geo to run like a ferrari.
theyre just lucky they made a fun game
