What are the bare minimum specifications needed to run this game?

I'm currently on a laptop with:
1.58 ghz
480 ram
and what I assume is an integrated graphics card.

Would I be able to run this game if I lower EVERYTHING to the lowest possible setting?

You mighty want more ram. You could snag up a 2gb stick for $30~40 off newegg if you have a DDR2 laptop board. Or hell even just 1 gb for $30 from newegg for a DDR laptop would seriously help your odds of playing and overall useability of your laptop.
