My only real complaint is that I never see the hardest champions. I'd like to try champions like Ezreal and Anivia before I save up to buy them.

I think we should have Anivia and other more rare champs more, because that's who Im saving up for and probably other players are too. Then we could have time to practice before we buy them, and also then we could decide if we want them or not.

This thread actually prompted me to make my first post on the Riot forums.

As a new player (a few weeks) I have to say that I thoroughly enjoy the rotational system. It seems that Riot has included a good mix of classes and difficulties in the free champ selection (for instance, this week Anivia is included and apparently she's incredibly difficult to play). Each "week" I don't really know what I'm going to have available, and to me, that's a cool thing. It's a surprise. Thus, I was pretty pumped when Heimer was free this rotation as I had been looking to play him. I'm also looking forward to Mordekaiser, too. Think you can slip him in soon? :P

I tend to gravitate towards one or two champs each free-rotation, so I don't try them all, but that's because of personal preference. I start learning one and get the hang of it, like it, and practice with it. I think I went Nasus, Twisted Fate, Veigar, Sion, and now Heimer. Maybe I'll give Amumu and Ashe a whirl.

Basically, Riot, you're going to have a lot of haters no matter what you do. I just wanted to chime in and let you know that at least a few people like your rotational layout. Thanks for the chance to play and practice on free champs while we build up our IP. Although the rate of build-up is quite slow... are regular matches much more beneficial in terms of IP income? I've just been doing practices.

Take care.

We listen to player feedback on Champions to make free, and we introduce new Champions on a regular basis. Those two factors make it hard to have a set rotation that repeats every 8 weeks or so (which is I assume what you're implying about a pattern).

Hey riot team,

I would love to see the champion PANTHEON next rotation, or any rotation in the near future. I keep on hearing amazing things about his insane burst output. I am just dying to play as him. Seeing as I just just bought Sion, I don't really have the IP to buy him and have him permanently.

I know it's just from one person, and it probably won't make a difference, but thanks anyways

By the way, I love what you guys have done in terms of keeping the community involved every step of the way, great job

I think I'll probably be in the minority, but could you please NOT allow the new champions to be free for their debut week? I like being an early adopter, I LIKE being the first one to try new stuff out. I get frustrated beyond belief when I get QueueDodged 6 games in a row because some jackass wants to try the new free hero. If someone wants to demo, let them wait for next rotation.

Maybe a good Idea for "rotation" could be that:

Specific Basic Champs are free each 3 or 4 weeks, More complicated or expensive Champs, rotate each 6, 7 or to 10 weeks depending of the evaluation conducted by Riot.

And About giving a full taste of new champs at the second week, is anti bussiness ( in my opinion) because there is people that after try the champ, would discart as a favorite and never buy it.

I agree with previous replys. This style of game balance is needed end of discussion. The only way you can get feedback on the new champions is if you release them to the public the week of to make sure that good players who have the IP to purchase them arent farming statistics with them. I understand that the creators of Leagues of Legends are more focused on fun game play but game enthusiests such as myself care about stats (while being friendly and keeping gameplay fun). But our competitive side WHICH IS WHY WE ARE PLAYING cares about the stats. If you give people a way to farm you take away the importance of stats and therefore take away the end game point of playing. Obviously the LoL team makes champs as balanced as they can but the more logical approach is for the champion to be mass tested. I would like to state i dont play any hero but my hero that i bought cause it fits my style of gameplay so this is not someone who is trying to have personal gain and try out the heros myself but id like to play against balanced gameplay. I would like to have a challenge of a good player not an over powered champion. We do come to the point where obviously in a game there is going to be a person who is more powerful than the rest and thats because he plays better. And more power to him/her. But let this be because of their skill not the champion they chose. I would like to thank anyone who took their time to read and/or reply to my thread. I hope to you all a very great day and goodluck in your gameplay!!!

Idea is raw and needs polishing but here is a direction:

Make so that you can play a character that you didn't buy only in practice games.

People literally play a character first time in normal games! (waisting my hour of game play)

Better yet make so that you would need to play at least 6(?) practice games before playing it in normal game?
