It's been a long time, and i have waited patiently... But i've never seen twitch free, and flawed or not i still wanna try him...

And then i see people like Galio, Zilean, Malphite, etc who are free every other week =/

Not complaining, was just curious is all. Are you waiting for the rework first or something? It would make sense i suppose

Okay, I've played for almost a year now and only seen Galio free 3 times. (including this week) He is one of the rarer champions seen free, maybe just these two recent appearences made you think that, and it seems similar with Malphite. But with Zilean, I agree that he is free quite a bit.

Now on to what I was going to post... I thought new champions were free the second week after they're out? Anyone have a clue why Talon isn't in the rotation?

Yay! Galio and Shaco are free. I've been wanting to do some tests with Galio for a long time now.

I wonder if they will take Shaco off the rotation once they realize they forgot Talon? The same thing happened with Yorick if I recall. Except in that case they swapped out Mordekaiser for him.

Galio at one point was practically never free, He was one of the last champions i ever got to see in game (and trundle) when i was newer. But not recently, check the free week history, Galio and Malphite have appeared 3 or 4 times this past summer alone. How many times have we seen twitch? He hasn't been free since March...

And to answer your question, my assumption is that they're putting talon off til the new champ comes out, they normally save it so when the new champion is released the previous new champion can be played as well. I think they've done it before too with Yorick/Leona or somebody like that

for the simple reason of balance...

i mean think about it, lets say udyr wasn't free the week he was released that means only a few who either had extra IP and or bought him with RP would have played him, and thus

only a small portion of the community would have been able to give feed back on him...

cause i mean lets face it only reason udyr was even brought up was because he was free the week he was released and a ton of players played him and gave the feedback on him,

wow you really have to look at their side. they need money to pay the bills. so no, they will not just give you the new champ. however i did like how they had the new champ the week after he came out. sort of a "pay and get him first" type of thing.
