It's usually around 90 but it has been peaking over 300 these past few days, so I was wondering if it was the server or just my i.c.

Oh and inb4 stop downloading pron or similar 12 year old jokes (not being discriminatory, but i've had my share of CoD high pitch voices blabbering stuff like that)

Try turning your modem on and off. Ocassionally my ping will rocket to 400 ( try last hitting at that ) and then i just have to turn my modem off and back on and it drops back down to 174 ( im australian so my ping sucks anyway ).

Alternately you could stop watching porn while playing :P

It can be some other thing in the background downloading updates. Windows Update or Steam etc.

I've ran into so many games where the majority of the players have high ping. In fact, some pings in the game aren't accurate. I did a ping test during the load screen, and found my actual ping to be lower than the ping shown on the screen.

A lot of possible reasons. If you're on wireless its probably some kind of interference. If not, contact your isp

Yeah my ping is insane. On the load screen it'll bounce between 999 and 90....and in the game I'll see ratings of like 1200+ ping. This is insane cause its been like this for a few weeks, when I first started playing it was never above 79 except during bad weather. I don't know what's going on but I'm playing the game on "Very low" settings across the board and I'm still lagging like crazy. Any clues?
